Our Church Staff
Senior PastorPastor Norm Schwab was raised in Vancouver, Washington. He graduated from Washington State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He worked for Pacific Gas and Electric in San Francisco, California as an Engineer and obtained his Professional Engineering License. After working on a special project in Bend, Oregon, he felt God's call to vocational Christian work. He completed the four-year Master of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. Norm graduated with honors and was nominated for the Ironside Preaching Award. He has been the main speaker at a number of men's retreats on the West Coast and Hawaii. He has taught leadership classes at seminaries in Ukraine and Russia. He has pastored at Yacolt Evangelical Free Church since August 1994. He enjoys fishing, woodworking, tennis, snow boarding and hiking. Norm is currently restoring a 1965 mustang and is looking foward to taking his whole family on an afternoon drive.
Youth Pastor
Pastor Nathan R. Noorlun joined us in April 2005. He was raised in Battle Ground, Washington. He graduated from W.S.U. Vancouver with a B.A. in Business Administration - Accounting. Before he answered the call to youth ministry, he was an Auditor for the State of Washington. He is attending Western Baptist Seminary in Portland, Or to complete his Master of Divinity. Nathan enjoys reading, studying a variety of topics, the great outdoors and enjoys a casual conversation over coffee.
